Alameda Plein Air Painting Workshop

Location: The Frank Bette Center for the Arts is located in the heart of the beautiful island city of Alameda, California. There are endless painting possibilities within Alameda’s historical architecture, urban landscape, waterways and San Francisco Bay Views.

Description: Victoria Brooks will be teaching this impressionist oil painting workshop on location and in the studio. She will be emphasizing working quickly to simplify the landscape and capture the ambiance of the area. Your completed paintings will have a fresh, spontaneous feel. Victoria will address choice of subject, technique, composition, color and values. She will give several quick demos as well a frequent constructive class critiques. This class is for all level of painters.

Start Time: 9:00am-4:00pm

Class Fee: $195. Class size is limited to 12.
